I know that this sounds very silly. I swear that i am a educated adult. I was just wondering if having your computer over your stomach could have a negitive effect on getting pregnant. Please don't be cruel..I think it is a honest question

If worried talk to your doctor. If you were on the internet it might give off a radiation effect like your mobile however I would think only at a very low level. If your just typing etc I don't see any dangers but good question never thought about that.

Based on your picture, you're female. From that perspective, I'm not aware of any documented evidence of a relationship between trouble concieving and the computer. However, I wouldn't rule it out.

They have proven that the heat from laptops used on men's lap lowers sperm count, so it's not entirely impossible/improbable that it would have some similar effect on women.

It heats up my legs which is uncomfortable. Additionally laptops are designed to sit on flat table surfaces, and when sitting on your uneven, shapely lap the fans get blocked and don't vent the machine properly. Putting the laptop on a pillow would definitely block the vents.

I don't think it should have any effects on females...but i do know that the heat from laptops on a males lap near jewels could cause lowered sperm count.

most portable computers are no longer laptops. they can get super hot. Pregnant women are supposed to avoid hot tubs or super hot baths (any place you can sweat). I wouldn't keep it there for very long.

I put my laptop on a pillow on my thighs, just so I don't get too hot.
