Yes it should and it is in many states unless you use hands free. Still, I think talking on the phone while driving takes your mind off the road and people don't pay attention. I see it all the time.

Absolutely not, but it should be made safer, and it should be mandatory that you use a hands free set up. I always talk using a head set, so I don't get distracted from the road, and have my hands free to drive.

Outlawing something only makes people want to do it more. And talking on the cell while driving isn't inherintly unsafe, but being careless while doing is.

I saw a girl driving and texting with both hands the other day - genius! I don't know if talkin and driving should be outlawed, but it would be great if folks would at least use a head-set.

I hate it while the drivers using cellular telephones force slower than something of the site visitors and are so distracted they line-decrease on the throughway exits and interchanges. i'm hoping the ban is imposed till now than later using fact those thoughtless drivers, the single's using the cellular telephones, are risky esp in crowded or congested site visitors circumstances. purely one subject worse is a riffraff under the impression of alcohol driving force ingesting a greasy burgher on a similar time as using a hand-held cellular-telephone rubbernecking an injury accident! Did I point out the extra distraction of a visor television?

Yes, I think so. I have seen many near-miss accidents because of people talking on the phone while driving.

No, more regulation is unnecessary and unwarranted. Treat it as inattentive driving if the driving is in fact inattentive.
