because i just got my board and used it like 3 times......and what does wax do>???

Wax makes you not slow. you need to wax now and then to keep your board slippery. And I would suggest waxing it at the begging of the season.

You need to wax it at the start of every winter. Otherwise it doesn't slide across the snow.

Doesn't the wax make it have less friction on the snow? Otherwise, it wouldn't slide as smoothly..I remember my teacher waxing our skiis at our Yosemite trip..

u dont have to wax it but its better if u do. i didnt wax mine last year. wax makes it go faster

Wax makes it slick - less friction, more speed.
