Many people feel that abortion is OK in the case of rape. I've often asked, "Why is a rape baby worth less than a 'regular' baby?"

But I have another question regarding rape babies and those conceived of consensual sex. What if the rape victim loves her baby regardless of how it was conceived? And what if the participant in consensual sex hates the idea of being pregnant, birthing, and raising a child?

Does this turn the tables any? I ask because I understand the reason behind being OK with abortion in cases of rape is because the mother would not love the child as much. But if the mother of the child conceived in consensual sex wants nothing to do with having a child, why is it not OK in that circumstance?

(Please do not assume that the woman who got pregnant had unprotected sex. Protection does fail.)

First off Jeancommunicates states "Some of this must stop. Women are depressed and suffering anxiety disorders. Medicated with the most dangerous drugs and all because of fornication, consensual unmarried sex and abortion." EXCUSE ME! Some women are depressed because of a chemical unbalance and that has nothing at all to do with fornicating...wow I mean where is YOUR head at.....

And what if the woman was married having protected sex and then had an unwanted pregnancy...why does everyone assume the woman who is having an abortion is sleeping with everyone and having unprotected sex. She could be married using birth control or condoms, and they failed and she got pregnant. Maybe they both do not want a child. She should have a choice on weather or not to have that baby. Yes she could give the baby up for adoption, but she should have the option. People have to realize not all abortions are done as "birth control" I doubt that the women having these abortions came to that conclusion lightly.

Being raped is very capable of making a woman mentally unstable and to add abortion to the being raped often complicates the problem. You can convince her that she was forced to have sex unwillingly, but you can't convince her that she was forced to abort. The abortion would be her decision.
The rape was not her decision. We reap what we sow. The rape was not her fault. The abortion is her fault. Consensual sex is her fault.

Consensual sex . . . One moment of pleasure can cause a lifetime of consequences.

Some of this must stop. Women are depressed and suffering anxiety disorders. Medicated with the most dangerous drugs and all because of fornication, consensual unmarried sex and abortion.

Those people are moral relativists. I dislike those people. I'm Pro-choice in all cases and I can't understand the logic of someone being for abortion if the embryo was a product of rape. Would that make it any less of an embryo? Doesn't it end the same way- termination of a pregnancy? Rape shouldn't be an issue in the abortion debate, you either support it or you don't. There is no middle ground.

Because it's all about people forcing their own beliefs onto others.

As I always say, if you're NOT pro-choice, yet you're unwilling to adopt a baby from a mother who doesn't want it, then you're words are empty and your stance is without substance. It's not the baby's interests you're concerned with, it's the forcing of your beliefs and ideals onto that baby's mother.

Step up or stand down.

It is a matter of choice.
No one has the right to forct his or her beliefs on another person. That is what pro-lifers are trying to do.
It is unfair and is not right.

I am pro-choice. I believe a woman has a right to make whatever choices she decides to make.
