Have read it. LOVED it. Will read it again and it's on my staff picks list at the book store I work at.
Actually, everyone in our store who read it loved it.
It's a lovely read. The characters come alive and you really start to care about them.
I would HIGHLY recomend it.

I guess I'd have a Buffalhant. And since he would have the instincts of his water buffalo side, he'd be after the Hyenas that try to kill baby Water Buffalos for food, as he too would be looking for food as well. Naturally he'd be huge in heighth as an elephant, since size seems to carry over in genes. So he'd be as tall and bulky as an elephant, but he'd have the fierceness of a Water Buffalo and with those turned up horns and the snout of an elephant. He'd also have the heavier hair like the Water Buffalo, and he'd probably look more like the prehistoric elephant than the almost hairless type of today. The Buffalhant would be the new king of the jungle due to his size and fierceness. He would have the inclination to stomp and gouge his prey to kill, rather than just rampage and plow anything down in their paths like an elephant.

I read it and I loved it! I would recommend it. It would make a good movie!

I am trying to read it . It just doesn't seem to grab me but I will keep trying .
