The expanse , the quiet , the animals,(not the ones that break into your car two legged kind), the nature.
Give me the country any day!!

I'm gonna have to say city...or at least just outside of it. When you're in the city you feel a little more connected to civilization. It's upbeat, it's fast pace. It feels like you're living life to the fullest. If your car shuts down you don't have to walk miles to find the closest gas station, you go right around the corner. The city is just a little more convenient. Don't get me wrong I like the country, just not to live in. I feel to distant from humanity (although sometimes that can be a good thing). I'd probably stay in the country for vacation.

I have to say the country, I would want lots of space you know to expand if I needed to on my ranch! Plus I would want four of my favorite dogs to be free and have room to run all over the place and I gotta have a lake near a meadow or something...just think Gone With the Wind...or the lake locations from The Notebook...breathtaking-
However, because I am a Metropolitan girl from birth... I would still need to be close to a major city to shop or go out for some great Thai or Greek food, you know?

Definately in the country!
Fresher air. Grow your own fresh veggies and weed. Lay outside in the sun naked without perverted neighbors looking on.
Own big dogs to guard your property and have room for them to run and play.
Drill a well and tap into fresh water.
Sleep at night in peace and quiet. no worry about having your vahicle broken into at night. country boys provide their own protection by the way. You can own cattle for food supply and money at stockshows.
Get horses and go riding through the countryside. Ride your 4 wheeler wherever you want. Shoot your guns and go squirrel hunting. Pop fireworks whenever you want to.Get a pond dug and stock with catfish and other fish for food. Have a bon fire when you have friends over and party all night long blasting your home stereo without the cops coming. The country is the best. Howdy from Texas by the way. The kids and grandkids can play out in the yard without getting ran over. the reasons go on and on. Country living is the best living.

The community is very diverse and theres not really a dull momement, theres always something new to do. and the parades and such it's a fun place to be no matter what age.
