Hi!
I think that the best jobs for an 11 year old are babysitting, lawn chores, and volunteering in younger childcare centers.
I babysit my nephew, and niece, and other kids from my church. a good thing to know is FIRST AID, and CPR. Have her check out the American Red Cross classes.
Have her also do hands on work near home, or with a friends family to gain experience with child care.

Listen, I would be wary of "loaning" my 11 year old daughter out for odd-jobs or some of the things people are suggesting here. The world is not as safe a place as it used to be. Your child IS a child after all, and would not likely be able to protect herself if something were to happen. I would certainly only allow her to walk dogs or babysit for people you know very well, and even then, to babysit at YOUR house so you could be around if something went wrong. The other thing she could possibly do is complete jobs for others at home, like licking envelopes/attaching stamps to large batches of mail or something like that. Then people could come pick up their stuff when its done and pay her.

Of course not. Child Labor laws would restrict most tasks so an employer wouldn't hire her. And because shes too young, not yet maturer, and has not gain the necessary skills/intelligence (not saying your daughter isn't intelligent, I'm sure she is) that an 16 year old may have. An employer would rather hire an older person because they can do more task that your daughter would be restricted to complete, they can work more hours without much restrictions, and plus it keeps one less person on the payroll. I apologies for any mechaincal, grammar, and spelling errors.

she cant be employed because she wont have insurance, but there is not age limits for things like market research. its simple and wont give her a fortune but also wont take her LOADS of time if u know what i mean. you get 20 minute surveys and after about a month, getting one survey every 2-3 days she can have around £25 ($50) the websites i recoment are: CIAO and MARKET RESEARCH, not sure of the address but type in google. if u apply fot that job to few websites u will get more money and more work, i highly recomend this to people who have some free time aswell.

I have an idea. She could print cards with her name and a little paragraph saying that she is available for any household jobs--babysitting, light housecleaning, dog walking, gardening, or whatever. Then she takes the cards around the neighborhood and hands them out to people or puts them in mailboxes or on doors. Then if someone needs her they call her up. We have a lot of things around our house that could be done by an eleven-year-old.

No. Don't you think having a job at age 11 is a little too early. You should wait until she is older, like 16. That is treated as child labor, and that is illegal.

11? a actual interest. No. In maximum states you could desire to be a minimum of 14 for working papers. Can she help out w/babies? some thing like a mom's helper. She might artwork w/mom who desires some help w/young ones on wknds. or in summer season any day. She might get money for this. possibly she would desire to enable human beings recognize that in the event that they're having a social gathering for a toddler and that they have a piano, she would desire to entertain with the aid of ;enjoying the piano and getting the babies to sing alongside. She would desire to set a cost and a one hr time cut back.

Your daughter is not even a teen yet, Let her enjoy her life as
a teen, because it only comes once in life and they are a very
active part of her life she will never forget, and tell her not to
rush it. Adulthood will come qiuck enough.
When I was eleven. I enjoyed crafts. I liked to do the paint by
numbers, and did many of them. It is something she can get
framed and always be proud of to show her children. In fact
I became fery good at art. I used to read comic books and
when I was done reading one. I would always draw the cover
before i would trade it away for another. go for it. :-})

She is 11 if she want to earn summer money then give her stuff to do around house or let her do odd jobs for neighbors . Her only other option is a lemon aid stand .

i don't think babysitting is a good idea, how can u leave a 11 year old with a child, i she herself is one, its just silly, i think u should give her jobs around the house and pay her, there is really not much she can do.
