I have heard two translations of the title for movie four, "Naruto Shippuuden: Shock! Naruto Dies!" I have also heard it translates to, "Naruto Shippuuden: Impact! Naruto Dead!!" The movie is supposed to be out August 4 in Japans theaters, but someone in Japan said they aired some sort of special on the movie and apparently his death isn't real, and he has just been kidnapped or something along those lines. I highly doubt they would kill off the main character, but even if they do, in the movie, the movies themselves don't really follow along with the actual Naruto series, so those who are freaking about it, I really don't think you have to worry. Making it seem as though Naruto dies is probably just there way of making sure as many people as possible will watch. Also for those who follow along with the complete series, if you remember correctly, this is NOT the first time Naruto has "DIED". The only thing any of us can do, or say, for sure is to wait and watch. And they are still actively releasing the manga and anime series.

Here is the extended teaser for the fourth movie, on YouTube, for those who haven't seen it...

Hey I know the 4th movie seems to revolve around Naruto dying... Like there's a picture of a gravestone with Naruto's headband on it, and the trailer shows him fighting against ten dark purple figures and losing (he suffers injuries and fails to form a Rasengan)... But actually I don't think Naruto will die. I would guess probably Naruto's friends thought he died, but actually he didn't. There might have been some misunderstanding somewhere in the story.

The Naruto movies are not part of the original manga storyline and thus are not supposed to contribute to any major plot development, in case it interferes with and contradicts the original story in the manga, which is still in progress. The Naruto movies may be considered longer versions of the filler episodes. Hence, if Naruto really dies at the end of Shippuden the movie, it would not make sense for the original manga storyline, especially since Naruto is the main character and is essential in the original manga's plot development. And I think the manga has around another 2 to 3 years to go, at least! Haha there are still a lot of mysterious things unresolved in the manga, so yeah.

Yup hope that helps! :)

He's not goona die. Naruto movies are just long fillers. So he can't die. Besides, it never says he dies. And it's very posible that the headband on the grave isn't But he's ddefinatly not goona die. It says something like 'His fate will be sealed'. It never even says his name, so theres a chance that they aern't even talking about Naruto. And when Sakura yells Naruto's name, the screen goes black so you never know when she actually says it. The trailers are ment to keep you guessing and to make you jump to conclusions. And a lot of times when you see the movie in thearters, half the stuff you see in the trailers don't show up in the movie. Trailers alos usually have nothing to do with the movie the way everyone thinks it is. Nothing is for sure. But Naruto definatly don't die. I mean even if it does say Naruto dies, it doesn't mean he really dies. I mean there was an actuall episode called "Naruto Dies" and he's still living.

Naruto does not die in the movie the fourth movie is based on a priestess who can see the future and see's naruto dying (that part is where people assume naruto dies)but once you watch the whole movie she saves naruto basically meaning naruto does not die btw you can't kill off a main protagonist (most anime though has broken that first law and have killed main protagonists before but naruto follows the traditional movie laws)

ok. have you ever heard of a manga/anime that keeps on going after its significant character dies??? How do you keep going??????? If as an occasion, Inuyasha dies contained in the midst of the sequence, the two the sequence will end suitable there or he gets resurrected or some thing stupid like that, or he isn't probably lifeless so NO Naruto isn't gonna die

You don't actually see him die in the trailer, but in Shonen Jump magazine published in Japan, the description simply says "Naruto Dies". From what we know, he was attacked.

It's only a rumor.
It may be implied in the trailers for the Shippuden Movie, but he can't, (and won't) die just yet.

Maybe. You have to wait for the movie to come out next month to find out if her really does die. But in my opinion he doesn't.
