hell yes it is, no just kidding. That all started a long time ago when music sucked, and pretty much Kiss started it off. KISS, KNIGHTS IN SATANS SERVICE, or some trash like that. Most rock and roll believe it or not is just love songs. Bands such as killswitch engage and cold, most are love songs are just telling about problems that have dealt with. Know if you listen to Slayer then yes you are listening to luicifer himself, but slayer does rock. Or i guess Ozzy also, but in his songs such as war pigs, he is saying satan laughing spreads his wings, because of the war pigs, and such things as that. But no most just regular every day rock and roll has nothing to do with the devil, although a lot of rock stars do not believe in any type of god, you will learn this from going to way to many concerts and reading way to much into your favorite bands. But yea like that one girl said you could always listen to punk, the worst form of music ever made.

Yeah baby! :) (Just look at all the trouble John got into, when he said that the Beatles were "bigger than God"....) Muhahahahaha......Rock n roll has always been about questioning authority, and each generation has thier own way of going about it, and thier parents all have thier own way of wondering what on earth these kids are coming to, listening to heaven forbid, the Beatles, when thier own parents were thinking the same thing about thier kids listening to Elvis and Jerry Lee.....whenever someone is questioning authority, and authority doesn't want to be questioned, well, it *must* have something to do with Satan seducing the younguns through rock n roll, right?

I don't think Rock n Roll is the problem it is the artists and how they present it. The old Rockers were quite tame compared to the modern screamers (they do not sing but rather scream, destroy their instruments, and generally look miserable). Imagine Elvis grabbing his crotch, he would not only have been banned but probably tar and feathered and never heard of again.

Of course not, that's like asking if Jazz music is a tool of the tooth fairy or techno is a tool of Easter rabbit man.

Rock & Roll in and of itself is not evil.

It is how you use it. The music can be happy and upbeat or sensual and sinister. You just have to be choosey in what you want to listen to and how you want the music to affect you.

Sure it is....if you play ABBA backwards, you will get satanic messages from outer space. There is, of course, a moral here..don't play ABBA backwards.
PS: folks, I suspect this question was asked as a joke...lighten up

No, why should it be? I know tastes differ, but there are so many rock fans around the world and they need not necessarily be youngsters.
