Yeah. President's protect each other and Congress goes along because they all want to be president. Bush did it because he didn't want his dirty laundry aired. And for some reason the Clintons and Bush clan have some sort of affinity for each other.

We need a president who is willing to lay down some of his authority to Congress. Not all of it or we'd never get anything done, but someone needs to give Congress some courage.

Clinton was guilty. If it wasn't for a couple of Republicans he would have been tossed.

Note: I want to bet "king of something" 10,000 dollars Bush won't be prosecuted.

Why are sounding so shrill? Libby's pardon is just another nail in Bush's coffin. Lying to authorities is still lying to authorities. The convictions still stand, parole and 1/4 million dollar fine and probation.

Liberals are supposed to be the party of compassion....I see none of that here. They can't stand it because a man who did nothing wrong is having his sentence commuted by a Republican President. The Liberals on this board are so whiny and unforgiving. It must be embarrassing to be a liberal these days with no morals and no compassion.

Clinton charged but not convicted
Libby charged but convicted
I wonder if Bush will pardon himself and Cheney when they are hauled off to war crimes trials.

No, can't say I do remember that. I am not whining about Scooter, I love it! Every day Bush and Cheney show their contempt for the rule of law, and turn more American People against the GOP. Go Bush!

Whatever gives you the thought that the chimp is a "forgiving guy"? While he was governor of TX he stood by while 157 men and women were executed. Some didn't even have DNA profiling done to see if they were really guilty or not - because, I have been told by the corrections staff - "they were convicted by a jury of their peers"! Don't make me throw up tonight!

I don't doubt that Clinton was corrupt. Heck I never even supported him. I don't even support Democrat or the today Republicans.

If you think this is an example of someone in power forgiving someone else with political connections. You are obviously willing to blind yourself for political reasons. Amazing.

Seriously I'm glad I'm not like you. Hell, I'm not even a "lib" as you put it.

Bush isnt all bad.

However, considering all the harm he has done to our environment and geopolitical environment, he certainly will be given a bad rap by history.

Down with bush.

So, it's okay to pardon your buddies, but you can't pardon two Border Patrol agents who are trying to keep America safe?
