I don't think either of them should have been let out, they both broke the law and deserve their jail time. Scooter wasn't railroaded, but he made the decision to be the scapegoat. Bush & Cheney of course had to protect their scapegoat.

I don't like Hilton. But she got more than what she deserved, Mel Gibson didn't get any jail time for his DIU. The reason Hilton got more jail time was becuase the people were outrage she had gotten house arrest in the first place. Besides, Sharpton came out and protest so you have your answer right there.

Good point. The difference is, however, that Libby has a lot of information about Cheney and Bush that might be extremely embarrassing, if not downright criminal, if Libby became upset.
