I affiliate with neither party, and I do not see the sense in using the actions of one to justify the actions of another.

Last time I checked, every President has given pardons. Of course, some of these pardons go to friends and colleagues of the President. Reagan did this, Clinton did this, and every other President has done this.
This is not really that big of a deal.
