I'm 28 years old
I read around 20 book a month and have been for many years.
I own around 3000 books, and have read everyone and some numerous times.
Fantasy is my favorite genre, but I read everything.
I LITERALLY have read just about every fantasy series on the market.

My favorite series/books in order from favorite down.

George R. R. Martin: series "A Song of Ice and Fire." first book titled "A Game of Thrones." Martin is the only author I would give the title of genious too. He has a way even though his books are fantasy to make it seem like real life. In his books no main character is safe from dying, which makes this series extremely unpredictable. This is the greatest series I have ever read with no close second. I've read this series 3 times. EVERY READER SHOULD READ THIS PURE GENIOUS SERIES..

Tim Lahaye: series "Left Behind." This series is christian fiction, but is awsome for any genre. I've read this series twice and couldn't put it down either time. A Must read for any reader.

J. K. Rowling: series "Harry Potter." I know this series gets alot of hype, but Potter kind of grows on you. Rowling has a way to write that the books get older as the characters do, this is a talented writer. She has started to follow Martins lead by making no main character safe from death. This series is besides all the hype one of the best. reccomended for any reader

Robert Jordan: series "The Wheel of Time." I've read this series twice as well, and was better the second time around. The main characters all have different and distinct personalities which is awsome. I just wish Jordan would write faster. This series is also a must read for any fantasy fan.

Piers Anthony: series "A Xanth Novel" there is 30 books in this series and everyone is great. They are the funnest books I have ever read filled with puns. This series is also a must read for any reader.

Orson Scott Card: book "Enders Game." There is a whole series out but only "Enders Game." was brilliant, and it is brilliant. It has won just about every award a book can win, and should be taught and read in school. This books was crazy good. I've read it 3 times. reccomended for any reader

Terry Goodkinds: series "The Sword of Truth." This series gets a little boring towards the last books, but is still really good. I've read it twice. highly reccomended for Fantasy fans.

David Eddings" series "The Bulgariad." This series is a classic in the way "The Lord of the Rings." is a classic. Kind of predictable, and the main character is kind of a wuss at first, but it's a awsome series. I've read it twice reccomend to every reader. It's a classic.

This is enough for now. you should get the point. read all these series. It's well over 100 books and when your done I can give you another list. Job.edwards124@yahoo.com

Try Psychopath by Keith Ablow. Very good book. You might also want to check out his other books. Exquisite Corpse by Poppy Z. Brite is also a good one to check out. Patricia Cornwell! I love Ann Rule true crime books as well. Harlem Coben is great and Kay Hooper. I just read Body Double by Tess Gerritson and that was really good. maybe we are morbid but they are fascinating novels. John Douglas, retired FBI agent writes some novels-check them out too! Janet Evanovich writes a series with the girl called Stephanie Plum and they are hilarious crime solving novels. So if you ever need a light read to get away from the serious stuff, check her out Down River by John Hart Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane

High Fiedlity-An amazing book that was the inspiration for the movie.

The Secret Life of Bees-Girly but AMAZING!

The Royals-The "story" of the Royal family of England. It's crazy but good, it's like a reality tv show but in book form. It might help to have an intrest in it though.

Sula by Toni Morisson and House on Mango St. by Sandra Cisneros. I got to read them in my Women in Lit class and I absolutely loved them. I also liked Jane Eyre by Charolette Bronte, but it's a long book and it has a slow start. If I didn't have to read it for school I probably would have sent it down and taken a year or two to read it.

Maybe you've already read this book, but you should read "Gone with the wind" by Margaret Mitchell. I just finished it, and it's really good, even though it's super long. It's during the civil war and it has southern romance in it. I don't know if you like romance, though.
