I get the Borders Rewards Newsletters, and I swear one of them featured a book about faeries. It was reviewed as "a stunning debut novel," or something similar, and I didn't write down the name of the book or the author. I remember that the author was female, it was a debut novel, "faeries" (or fairies) were mentioned, and it was for adults, NOT children (you might be amazed how many children's books there are about fairies).

If anyone can think of anything that sounds familiar, or even vaguely similar to the description above, I would greatly, greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much!

I just looked in my Borders Rewards newsletters and the one from 6/21/07 has a bit about the book "Wicked Lovely" by Melissa Marr. They called it an "enthralling debut novel."

Yes it's a book called The Stolen Child by Keith Donahue. Keith is obviously not female.

The faeries are gay? Is that why its an adult book? I have not heard of it, but it sounds like great fun. Hope you locate it.
