If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs inthe air, the person died in battle. If the horse has one front leg in the air the person died as a result of wounds received in battle. If the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.

Can you give examples?

according to the link below that is true, but I can't totally agree...

There is a statue of George Washington on a horse with one leg up, meaning he died from battlewounds, but he died of a throat infection.

BUT

Robert E Lee is seen on a horse with all four hooves on the ground, meaning he died of natural causes. He in fact did die of natural causes, Pneumonia to be exact.

and there is a statue in Lincoln County OR which shows Abe Lincoln on a horse with all four hooves on the ground, meaning he died of natural causes, which would be the closest thing to how he did die, as his gunshot wound was not inflicted by the enemy or in battle...

Not always true.
Wikipedia shows a statue of General Stonewall Jackson at Manassas Battle field Park. The horse has all four feet on the ground.
Jackson died of wounds reveived in battle.

Well, some of the statues agree with what that but some of them don't. The best deduction I can do for this is it all depends on the sculptor on how he would make the representation. A horse is a symbol of nobility and an august person would look good on top of a horse whether it raised its legs or not.

I would assume that it's false and the cases that support it are just coincidence.
