His name is Miroku. He's a hoshi (Monk) who has Naraku's curse on a form of a Kazana (Wind Tunnel). His mission is to kill Naraku to release him from a curse. He understood Naraku is looking to collect all the Shikon no Tama fragments, this is how it led him to meet with InuTachi.
