True, because the data is highly skewed.

median = 3.5
mean = 15.5

Clearly 3.5 is a much better indicator of centrality.

Hello

Arrange them in increasing order

2 3 3 4 6 75

Now the median is the middle score, since there are six values we must take the average of the middle two number which are 3 and 4 so the average is 3.5 and then the median is 3.5. the mean is 15.5 so the median is a better measure of central tendency.

yes.. the 75 in there distorts the mean. the median is 3.5. The mean is 15.5 lol.

This is true as the arithmetic mean is sensitive to "outliers", whereas the median (middle value) is not.
