The ASUS motherboard I want to buy says it "officially" supports DDR2 RAM up to 800mhz and supports "natively" up to 1066mhz? What does this mean? I prefer to get the higher speed RAM, but if its not going to be fully supported would rather stick with the 800mhz speed....

That means ddr2 1066 RAM will run at 1066mhz. In other motherboards they indicate 1066mhz (O.C.). That means BIOS will clock your ddr2 1066 at 800mhz and you could overclock it to 1066mhz w/out using memory dividers.

If you don't know what fully supported means, why choose the slower memory.
