Do the equations y = -4x and y = 4x have graphs that are perpendicular lines ? I say no, because in order for two equations to have graphs that are perpendicular lines, their slope must be the negative reciprocal of eachother. That is not the case with these two equations. Am i right ?

That is correct the slopes in this case are not negative reciprocals
