I'm not surprised. Don't know if "Scooter" lied on purpose or just didn't remember (as he said), but since the federal prosecutor ALREADY KNEW who leaked Pflame's identity, i.e., Armitage, his continuing with the case was obviously a fishing expedition to see who he could catch within the administration...hence, it was a process crime at best.

It's a prime example of 'it's not what you know, it's who you know.' How are you supposed to raise children to do the right thing and not break the laws set forth by the government if those laws only apply to certain people. It is a crying shame and even George Dubya should be ashamed.

His popularity is so low, it can't hurt him much, and it is a guarantee that Scooter won't finger the VP. It is like Clinton style corruption all over again.

Exposing the identity of the CIA agent who risk his/her life for the country sickens me. It was all for retaliation of openly opposing Bush Administration.
