This action on Bush’s part is outrageous. He’s probably concerned that Libby might talk and implicate Cheney and Bush in the outing of a covert CIA agent and show them to be the threats to national security that they are.

Clinton never did anything that comes close to this breach of national security and cover-up so trying to distract, as usual, by pointing to Clinton is ridiculous.

It would be, if hypocrisy didn't lead to over 3000 American deaths, not to mention the outing of a CIA operative. But then, maybe having sex in the Oval Office lead to many more American deaths and the outing of many more CIA operatives. Clinton had to suffer impeachment by Republicans who had no chance of conviction, lacking 5 Senators in one charge and the defection of 5 Republican Senators in the other charge. That is what I call hypocrisy.

the only case in U.S. history of a person successfully prosecuted for leaking classified information to the press - Hillary's husband pardoned the guilty party.
On January 20, 2001, President Clinton pardoned Samuel Loring Morison, a civilian analyst with the Office of Naval Intelligence. In 1984, Morison had been convicted of providing classified satellite photos of an under-construction Soviet nuclear-powered aircraft carrier to Britain's Jane's Defence Weekly.
He received a two-year jail sentence.
In pardoning Morison, Clinton dismissed the advice of the CIA.
"We said we were obviously opposed - it was a vigorous 'Hell, no,'" one senior intelligence official told the Washington Post at the time. "We think ... giving pardons to people who are convicted of doing that sends the wrong signal to people who are currently entrusted with classified information."
Morison is the only person ever successfully prosecuted under the 1917 Espionage Act

Everyone knows Clinton lied under oath. You have no point.

Why? Clinton didn't out a CIA official, nor did he lie about those who did. Do you really think the treasonist acts of outing an undercover security agent is the same as getting spunk on a dress?

Your point? When has hypocrisy ever been considered when dealing with a liberal.
