France was the biggest International contributer, but Spain and The Netherlands also declared war against Great Britain.
Spain was instrumental in securing the southwestern Flank of the American Colonies. The French gave support in troops and the Navy(which was vital in preventing an escape by sea at the Seige of Yorktown. The Dutch also gave support in terms of keeping the British Navy busy.
People from other countries served as volunteers (such as Baron Von Steuben from Prussia[a German kingdom before Germany was unified in 1871, but that territory now makes up much of present-day Poland] and Casimir Pulaski & Thaddeus Kosiscko from Poland)
