It's a promotional offer for Windows Vista.

X12-30196 is a free download of Microsoft Office. And, X13-40150 is Office 2007. They are the installer files . It won't hurt to delete them since they are trials.

Good Luck

These are CD versions of an Office 2007 instalation with other applications. The best way to free up space without getting rid of things you shouldn't is to do a " Disk Cleanup & Defragmentation." Go to All Programs > Accessories > System tools > Disk Cleanup & then Defragment.

It is possible that the X12 one is the Office 2007 Set Up. I would say that both are MS SetUps. It is not necessary to keep them but if you do delete them and then need to re-install for any reason, you would need to download again

This has something to do with "Secret Offer - Free Vista or Office 2007 for Developers."

If you've installed either of those apps, you may want to uninstall before deleting these .exe files. Or, you can save the .exe files on a disk if you think you might want them later.

It appears that these may be beta versions of windows office 2007 for developers. Take a gander at

I believe they make up two cds, which can be extracted and used. If you have no intention of using the beta verison of this software, you have every reason to delete or back up and delete the software.

This sounds like it is a Windows Update and I would not recommend deleting it (or anything else) without knowing for sure what it is.

The easiest way for you to clean up your hard drive is to get a program that can look through it and clean it for you. They are called registry cleaners.
