I am thinking about getting another pet. I have a rabbit now. should i get:
a hamster
a hermit crab
ferret
i have heard ferrets r quite expensive- i am not rich- i am 13!! so please help me!! i dont no which would would be best. i only get $20 a month and what ever money i earn babysitting

I agree ...a hamster is your best choice..there are even long-haired hamsters(a bit more expensive) but they are so cute! Any hamster would make a cute inexpensive addition to your family. Good Luck and Have fun with what ever pet you choose..oh one word about hermit crabs..I used to have them, but could never seem to keep them alive. I am not sure what I was doing wrong, but I was older than you are now and have had all sorts of pets all my life. So if you decide to go with them, please research them throughly first...they can be tough to care for! I would go with the hamster, cute, inexpensive and easy care!

hey. ferrets need 3-4 hrs with u every day and once school starts again (ugh) u wont have nearly enuf time to hang with ur friends AND do hw especially if u do sports. hamsters are fun creatures (not nearly as fun as ferrets *tear, tear*) and are low-cost. if u rlly want to u could probly get both hermit crabs and a hamster bc ive had hermit crabs when i was about 8 and trust me they r VEYR easy to take care of but fun all the same. even a hamster and hermit crabs both would be quite easy - much easier than a ferret.

PS-if u choose to ignore my advice (it dosnt rlly matter to me) and get a ferret PLZ get 2 ferrets. u might think im crazy but if anything itll make things easier. if u have 2 ferrets than they can play with each other and wont depend soley on u for their attention (tho u still need to get down and play with them). the only differnece would be more food and bigger cage - (not to mention more things of urs stolen!). as a last note, keep in mind that ferrets DO need regular vet visits and vaccinations. they are a lot of fun but can easliy get sick in their later years and wind up costing a bit more than u thought. feel free to emial me if u have any Qs for me

I would get a hamster!!
They are inexpensive once you have bought the cage, wheel, and feeders. (you may even be able to find some in the newspaper for cheap)
They don't eat a lot and they are soo cute.

ferrets are expensive so that takes that out...
Hermits are slow, lifeless and boring...believe me, ive had one!...
hamsters are pretty cheap and they are pretty kool, even though sometimes they"bark"/squeak occasionally.....
id go with the hamster.

i think that you should get a hamster. They are low maintenance and not horribly expensive. Not to mention they are cute.
