I applied to a University of California school for the fall semester and I got in. Problem is: the school requires that all prospective students earn grades of "C"s or better. I got a "D" in a history class, which to this day, is heavily disputed.

The teacher initially gave me an "F" but changed it to a "D" so I could graduate on stage, but even this "charity" grade is far below me. I turned in everything and did everything I was supposed to do. I even counted the work I got back and discovered that I had a "B" average. He gave me the bad grade BECAUSE HE DOESN'T LIKE ME! I've appealed this grade a few times already and I've had meetings with teachers, but according to my principal, "by law," she "cannot force a teacher to change" my grade.

I just called the UC school. They told me that my imminent rejection is highly likely and that there's nothing I can do about it. Deadlines to submit final High School transcripts are on July 15.

WTF CAN I DO?!!

Can you retake the school in summer school? If so, sign up for it right now, and let the UC school know that you are already enrolled in it.

Chances are this won't be a problem assuming your overall GPA is still at the acceptable level. I bet the worst thing that may happen is they place you on academic probation. This will simply give you more a reason to do well when you begin college. Worst comes to worst go to a backup school and transfer to your school of choice.

Edit your own transcript. Just white it out, type a same size c, put it over the D and copy yourself a new one. One grade will go unnoticed for sure. Or just kick him in the mouth and apply somewhere else? that sucks though man.

your teacher didn't just give you a D,,,,,you earned it!!!! take responsibility for your own actions!!! once your in college, you will have to do that quite a bit!! start now!
