Scooter Libby is an outstanding patriot who kept his silence. Unless he publishes his memoirs decades from now, we will never know what information he had access to within the Executive Branch. He got his commutation the hard way -- he earned it. He was loyal to his President and his Vice President. Frankly, I am amazed by his dedication and loyalty. I still hold hope that I will personally know someone like Scooter Libby during my lifetime. Oh, yes, and I'm delighted the President had the fortitude to commute the sentence now and not sneak it through on the day he was leaving office.

Once again the Bush Administration trying to show that it's above the law. I'm just surprised that Bush didn't have the balls to pardon Libby outright.

IS this even surprising. I expected something like this to happen. Soldiers who fight for our country are sent to jail because they fail to honor certain Geneva convention crap but people like scooter lobby and cheney who commit treason get away with it . Who said life as fair .
