i used 2 b a fan of both but dont get 2 watch them anymore. i liker y&r better.

I have been a long time fan of both shows.......and always favored B&B because of Sally. Then I had to watch how they put her on the back burner so many times, side lined her whole family and the idea of Spectra fashions, etc......then Sally became ill and passed this year. So we'll never have the chance to see the likes of her again. If all that wasn't bad enought, they just HAD to kill off Darla, the last link to Sally, and for what. To introduce us to the new grown up Phoebe (terrible actress) and her stupid story line.
Poor Darlene Conley (Sally) didn't even get a nod or retrospect at the recent Daytime Emmys.......what an ungreatful bunch of vipers these people are. And "Stephanie" was one of the hosts and presenters.....you mean she couldn't have said something about Sally........How disrespectful this industry is.
Back to your question......I still watch B&B but it's not number one in my book. It has really took a nose dive. The young actors are awful, the story lines and this music crap is awful and I am so sick of Brooke I can't see straight. I used to wish it was more than a half hour show........not any more, it doesn't deserve and hour.
Young & Restless wins my vote hands down. It's got everything going for it. Great stories and great actors. I'll continue to watch both shows hoping B&B gets the message that they've ruined what used to be a good show.

I am a Young and the Restless fan. I used to also be a Bold and the Beautiful fan but I stopped watching because I was sick and tired of the show being all about Brooke and whoever she is with at the minute. The Bold and the Beautiful sucks now. The writers need to change things on that show to get more viewers for it. If they keep going the way that they are going now, it wouldn't surprise me if the show gets canceled eventually. The Young and the Restless RULES!!!! Nothing else even comes close to being as good!!!!

I am a huge fan of both. I was a longer fan of YR and started watching bb about 10 years ago...

Y&R--
I used to watch both but, I just can't take Brooke and the crap that always makes her "cry". She needs to move on in her life and for Gods sake they better not make Nick's baby hers. She couldnt raise the FOUR she has let alone fight to get Taylors I read up in CBS soaps and I catch a few minutes now and again but I taped Y&R to make sure I don't miss it.
