something is wrong with your "LiveUpdate" module. so just go to "Control Panel" and then to "Add remove software" and uninstall "LiveUpdate"...

next step, go to the norton webpage and download the latest "LiveUpdate" software.
here is the link: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/sharedtech.nsf/docid/1999051911110813

after installing it, restart your pc and run LiveUpdate.
i guess this time it should work...

all the best. and good luck!

Some updates for Norton require you to reboot your computer, and then run live update again. Personally, I would junk the Norton and go get Computer Associates E-Z Armor Internet Security Suite.

bottom left hand corner of the Norton screen click on tech support and check out the FAQ section once its all sorted find and download avg so when Norton runs out your still protected and don't have to pay to renew a rather substandard program

Norton07 has major glitches. Switch to AVG Free Edition.
Your PC will run faster(Norton07 use a HUGE amount of memory resources) AVG is better & totally free.

You have the option to let Norton do this by itself without telling you. You can give it the option to download upgrades automatically.

I used to have norton. I now am happier using AVG free antivirus. Would recommend you change also.
