I have a female guinea with shaggy hair. I have been gone for about a week and left her in the care of my family, and when I came back I noticed her hair was much shorter. She's not missing any patches of hair, just shorter. They noticed too, and thought I'd trimmed it. She had a baby about a month ago, and I've noticed the baby licking/chewing her fur a little, but I can't imagine it getting this bad. Any ideas as to why this happened?

Its summertime. Animals are so much like humans that it amazes me. This girl I liked because of her beautiful hair, magically showed up the next day like a butch dyke. She must've shedded too. Summer girls show more skin, but Winter girls have better hair.

purely get the kind which you fall in love with first. once you pass to come to a decision on your guinea pig, work together with the guinea pigs you like the main and notice which one you will pick, regardless of the hair sort. there isn't any longer lots of a difference counting on the hair, you purely might desire to comb a protracted-haired one on a regular basis and trim it is hair on each and every occasion mandatory. remember, guinea pigs might desire to stay in comparable intercourse pairs or communities (except your guinea pig you pick can't cooperate with different guinea pigs. So possibly you will get certainly one of each and every.

One of my guinea pigs do the same thing. Guinea pigs sometimes chew on their hair to make it shorter, sometimes other pigs do it to them as well. It's called "barbering". This is normal for guinea pigs, just watch and make sure there aren't any bald patches. If there are, go see a vet.

It's called barbering. Guinea pigs will often chew on each others coats, giving it a trim! I suspect this is what the baby pig is doing. Usually not harmful.

I prefer hair that is shoulder length or longer, And since that men who like ladies are more often then not right, they like long hair because that looks more feminine, as most men have short hair.
