Yes and no. Based upon all the changes, and the anger that is an underlying current in our society, i would say yes. HOWEVER, based on the fact that americans have become lazy, subdued and sheepish, and scared of their government, i would say nothing short of all of our rights being stripped at one time would actually cause a revolution. So in easy to understand terms, Yes we have reason for one, NO american people wouldnt actually do it, we're to dang lazy.

Well the revolutionary war was against a foreign holder of power in our nation. There is no such entity right now so the answer is no - a revolutionary war is not possible today. A regime change is possible however - we do that every 4 to 8 years anyway.

No, revolutionary war will not happen due to the fact that we live in a society of apathy. You have to step out side of our self long enough to pay attention and notice the world around you. to feel and hear the tears and cries of those in pain and witness the suffering of the souls in need. We turn a blind eye and smirk with a comment that disparages the lost soul. Many are called but few answer that call. Change happens and spreads and grows when we reach outside of ourselves long enough to light the way of a different road to travel down. How can a person lead when they can not lead themselves. How can they grow, when they are stuck in the mire of ancient history, how can they accept who they are, and what they can give if they feel they have nothing to give. Revolution occurs when you believe and feel so strongly that you know future generations, your children's children may have the gift you bestowed, and to accept that it may take that long for your strength to be known., plant the seed everywhere, sooner or later it will take root.

No it wouldn't be a revolutionary war it would be another civil war, many factions would join together to 'preserve the union' Although it is a very useful idea, to fight for ones beliefs sadly that way of thinking is in the past, too many people today do not have the courage to die for what they believe in anymore.

Our founding fathers created a system that would allow for a bloodless revolution every 2,4,&6 years in the form of elections. The problem we now face is that the American people are so stupid, lazy, fat, and unfamiliar with true liberty that only 58% of us that can vote. The majority of those that vote are so sheep like that they continue to put the same dictators, buffoons, warmongering, despites in office over and over and over again.

The 110th congress features only 7 senators with less than 6 years of service and 51 freshmen Representatives. Some of our most infamous legislators have served for 10, 20, 30 or more years.

The revolution you talk of will come only after the formation of the one world government and the forfeiture of sovereignty to it. That is when they will take freedom of speech, expression, and the right to Bear Arms.

It is coming soon though less than 5 years in my book; it will be short lived, because the majority of the sheep prefer relative freedom and security over true liberty.

Thanks for asking

No. As our goverment is set up now based upon the Constitiution we are not a "territory" of any other country. We are "our own dog" so to speak. There is no one to stage a revolution against in the sense of the war that was staged against England for our freedom. If there were to be a war it would be more of a civil war as the states would suceed from the union. This is much different than a revolution.

War can take place anywhere and at anytime, lest we forget!

Its not just a business game to played on foreign soil, its a serious reality that has marred the human experience everywhere. There's no rule-book that says that the North American continent is 'out of bounds'.

Its not inevitable and its not unstoppable but we have to be ever vigilant against extreme forms of thought which lead to extreme forms of action such as war.

Frankly all the narrow minded hatred that exists just below the surface of American political debate (and sometimes out in plain view) scares the hell out of me.

Although no one wants to revolt now, yes it could always happen. All it takes is one wrong decision by Congress that angers a state or more likely a group of states to rebel.

Impossible, the army is controlled by the Goverment and if citizens revolted the army would wipe it out in about 12 minutes.
