i would rather want to know why there is a world of child molesters that feel like their world is bigger than ours and why if we all band 2gether , gays , straights , black , and whites and either rid our world of at least the idea that these people deserve to mingle or should we start praying fervenntly for the end of teh world as we know it know to be or not to be that is THE QUESTION .

What do you mean by "a lot"? 10 % of the world's population (Kinsey) is attracted to the same sex, probably more. That's 10 people in every 100.
There are lots of folks who think our natural state is bisexual, and if that[s the case, then the numbers would of course go up.
But strictly gay or lesbian..the number still used is 10 per cent. That's not "a lot" since many are found in communities with large GBLT populations and not so many in rural areas (not that you'd know anyway).

The same reason why there are a lot of brown eyed people in the world, or blond-haired people, or why there are so many people over 6 ft tall in the world, or why there are so many people in the world who weigh more than 200 lbs, or less than 200 lbs, or why there are so many people predisposed to cancer, or why so many people have olive skin tone, or why there are so many heterosexual people in the world. It's all the same question

It's not a personal choice...it's just something inherent. You can't choose NOT to be gay if you feel what you feel...if it wasn't so, there would be very few of them, and all sorts of methods advertised to "fix" the person...but there are none.

That is like saying why is there so much crime, hate, child abusers, murderers, etc. There is no real answer. Science has been researching this for years and most recently came up with the idea that a lot of those that are gay are because of one parent or the other. I myself believe that it is just something, chromosomes (?) maybe, that they are born with. Being gay is not taught. It just is. And yes I believe in God and I know it is absolutely forbidden in the eyes of God. But in my heart, I believe to each his/her own. Come judgment day, they will either find forgiveness or they won't. No one knows until we go beyond this life.

There are just a lot of PEOPLE in the world and I have heard it estimated that 10% of the gneral population is gay - so there would just be a lot of gay people in the world.

lool! What a nice question! just kidding... but... partly because being gay isn't that big of a deal, these days. People are more comfortable saying that they are. Also, lesbians are popular with men, so it makes money (not for all of them, some it's the same with gay guys).

There ARE a lot of LGBT people in the world because that's how God created them to be, and chose their lives for them.

There are a lot of left-handed people in the world, and green-eyed people, too. Do you single out these folks as well for this inborn trait? Of course not.

cuz being gay rocks. U get to be with someone who knows just how to work you over, cuz they have the same equipment. Fashionable, you get to work out and hang out in posh places. No braty little kids and a wife following you around.....unless u opt for the kids. It just makes sense. and thats just the way it is
