Rudy, you *are* aware that a large number of events that inflamed the Muslim world occurred under the watchful eyes of Reagan and Bush Sr? I mean, just look at the 80s in terms of American adventurism in the Mid East.
The only reason Giuliano is still around is he got lucky. The attack came on his watch and he was near live TV cameras, up until 30 seconds before WTC, his political future was doomed. And bin Laden was taken into custody.... when? Rudy? Hellooo?
The guy's a complete moron. Not saying Clinton wasn't, but Rudy's also in the "extremely naive" corner. This is the kind of talk that will fire up the idiots and the retards that still support President Bush and will push them closer to voting for Rudy Giuliani for the Republican nominee.
"Giuliani criticized Democrats, accusing them of weakness and naivete in dealing with terrorism."
When will the Democrats criticize the Republicans, accusing them of exaggerating the the threat of terrorism to achieve their business agenda?

It's amazing how so many Republicans try to blame Clinton for everything. For one thing, Bush & Co. were warned before the 9/11 attacks took place that terrorist attacks were being planned. Not only that, but I think it's hilarious how some Republicans have constantly said that Clinton should have killed bin Laden when he had the chance. Well, since bin Laden was the main culprit behind the 9/11 attacks, why is it that Bush and his cohorts made it a point from the very beginning to focus on Iraq, despite the fact that Saddam Hussein was in no way involved in the attacks? Last but certainly not least, it's laughable how some of the Republicans blame Clinton for the record deficit Bush gave us, even though Clinton left us with a surplus!

It's interesting, isn't it? He recently blamed Clinton for not "doing anything" after the first WTC bombing in 1993. But he was the Mayor of New York at that time and he should have done something to prepare for a time when there might be another attack against NY. He did not convene any commissions or panels to study this and make recommendations on what they would do if this happened again. I wonder why?

Dear Rudy, may the fleas from the buzzards of the Sahara Desert infest your armpits for saying things that are not true. Since you seem to support the war, why don't you join up and go over and fight.

Rudy was "lucky?" Like all the victims of 9-11 were? Wake up,the terrorists will not quit. Blaming each party is a waste of time. There is plenty of blame to go around. Have we forgotten about the U.S.S. Cole?

You took his words way out of context. He is talking about Clinton not doing anything to help the problem.

Nope.
I'm surprised that you don't know about Sandy Berger!!!!!
Berger stole & destroyed classified documents to protect Clinton from the 9/11 Commission Investigation.
Berger either believes that Clinton was the cause of 9/11......OR "someone" ordered or payed Beger to committ acts of treason.
Rudy may have it RIGHT!!!!
*Matt*, below has it right. Carter encouraged the terrorists because he was such a whimp, coward, and failure.
Even worse than Clinton.

When Clinton was trying to tell them about Bin Laden, Republicans claimed he was "wagging the dog" to distract us from the Lewinsky scandal. Oops.
