I find some Indian and Hindi music quite interesting.

I like all sorts of ethnic music. I think that Hindi, African, Caribbean (esp. reggae), and Arabic music are especially cool.

if your looking for traditional ethnic music that is modernized and fused with dub, reggae, and punk, check out "gogol bordello". gogol bordello is a band made of roughly fifteen members (fronted by eugene hutz) all collected from different areas of europe and asia (mostly from romania, ukraine and other eastern european countries). if labeled, they would fall under the category of "gypsy punk" but they are much more than that thanks to all of their modern and traditional influences. im seeing them play for my third time and every show is like going to the circus. their best albums are "gypsy punks" and "multi contra culti vs. irony". my personal favorite songs are "illumination" and "not a crime". They are an amazing band with great music and a great message, definitely worth checking out. i hope you enjoy them

I like Caribbean music, including reggae, calypso, and soca. It conjures up images of sandy beaches and clear blue water.
