I'm a dance major at a university, and I dance about 30 hours a week.

You'll just be in good shape and a better dancer for it :)

During your first week or so dancing a lot, you'll probably be really sore. You get used to it fairly quickly.

That is nothing try dancing every day from 9:00 to 5:00 then you will know that you can never dance too much!

dancing is movement, gets your circulation going, therefore it is excercise. It is everything else that goes with it that you should be careful of. Make sure you get some rest so that your body can heal ( using a muscle causes microscopic tears) eat healthy so that your body has the things it needs to heal itself, also drink lots of water to rehydrate, cause you're probably sweating a lot.

It does sound like a lot of dance. As long as you are eating healthy and not getting too exhausted and take breaks, it should be ok.

it depends on if u love doing it, if u do, its great! if not, then, yeah its too much if u hate it! personally for me im not getting enough dance. only 2 days a week for an hour. its hardly a warm-up for me. i would love to have your schedule, but if u think its too much for u, then maybe it is. it all depends on whether or not u wanna do it. it sounds like fun, but take it easy!!

depends on ur level and type of dance
if ur professional then that's ok
but don't foret to have a break and drink a lot of water
because u loose body fluid when u dance and u have to replace it

good luck

You need to make sure your calorie intake is enough so you're not burning wayyyy more calories than you're eating. Remember: Burning 3,500 calories more than you eat causes one pound of weight loss.
