It doesn't take two weeks and you could be pregnant. But I highly doubt it, it took me several months to get back to 'normal' after I stoped taking bc. So this could just be your body and it adjusting to not having the pills in your system. And it sounds like you think the month is to long that you should be pregnant by now, however, my husband and I have been trying for 2 years and we still aren't pregnant. And remember it takes the average couple 6-8 months to get pregnant with their first child. Good luck!

The sperm gets in the egg really quick, i think its within 3 days.
A test that shows up negative is more likely to be wrong than a test that says positive.
My 1st test didnt work.
Always use clear blue tests.
Good Luck hun

It usually takes longer than one month to get pregnant, not saying its not possible, however you are or were probably late because of the change in your birth control. When you stop taking bc it can mess with your body and stop the bleeding for days and many weeks; then when you finally do get your period (if you have stopped then resumed bc) it can last for weeks also.
If at all, I would just wait another week or two. It took me almost 7 months before I got pregnant, I also wasn't trying, but just give it time.

I was on BC for almost 10 years but quit in Jan 07. The Dr.'s say to wait until you have 3 regular periods in a row before you start trying for a baby. This is just the healthiest way to go about it. It also makes it easier to chart your fertile days of the month. You may very well be late than pregnant but it is possible. The website for American Pregnancy Association helped me learn about the in's and out's of getting pregnant. No pun intended. My advice to you...Start charting your period on a calendar. Then you can more easily find your ovulation or fertile days. You will ovulate 14 days before your NEXT period. That means you need to try to predict your next period and in order to do so you have to chart it for a few months and then count backwards. Have sex every other day 6 days before and 6 days after the predicted ovulation date. I do believe it is important to make sure you have the BC out of your system. It just makes it easier. Good luck to you!

Well, it doens't really take 2 weeks for the sperm to get to the egg. However, it does take about that long before a test will show up postitive. I would take another home test, or go back to the doctors offfice for a blood test. The blood test would show immediatly. Good Luck!!
Also, remember that it sometimes take up to three months to get pregnant after taking birth control. I hope it works out for you!

It is more probable to get negative result that a positive. Going off birth control could have affected your cycle also. I went off in February, and it took a while for me to get on a regular cycle. The first month, I was 11 days late for my period. I would maybe take another test, and if it is negative again, I would just be patient and wait for your period to come.

It takes the sperm about 3 days to reach the egg. it takes 2 weeks from conception for pregnancy hormones to be detected. Wait until the end of the week to retest to make sure your results are accurate.

Yes, you might be pregnant. However, when you go off the pill after taking it for a while, it can take some time for your regular cycle to reassert itself. Thay may also account for your symptoms. Keep testing, and if not, try again! Good luck.

It takes awhile for your body to regulate after stopping birth control, although it's possible you are pregnant. I'd wait a few more days and take another test. If you still haven't gotten your period, call the doctor. When I stopped birth control, it took me months to get regulated again.

Sperm takes a lot less than two weeks to hit the egg. You need to take another test, just a home pregnancy test. then you will have your answer.
