Sure you can. Not all lawyers have to stand in front of a court room and give great impressive speeches. They are lots of aspects to the law.

Also, you can work on the stammer. I have known several people with that issue that used Toast Master to help them past the issue. A speech therapist may also be able to help you.

You will have to get a bachelor's degree from an accredited college. Then law school takes 3 years of full time study. After that you have to pass the bar exam for the state where you wish to practice.

Don't worry about your stammer. It may be gone by the time you are ready to practice. Furthermore, even if you still have it, that stammer won't keep you down if you really want to be successful no matter what field you decide to pursue. Also, there are many areas of law that don't require a great deal of public speaking. You might want to consider a type of law that doesn't involve litigation.

Yes you can still become an attorney. One of my 4 sons has a stammer and he works customer service for an international internet security company. AND, I had an attorney a few years ago that had a moderate stammer and he did fine, at least in the speach area.

Yes you can. Get a college degree, pass the LSAT exam, go to law school the pass the bar exam and you will be a lawyer. As to the stammering, you can beat as others have. Bob Love, a former Bulls star did and he stuttered very badly. You can do it if you want to bad enough and I think you do. Good Luck to you and keep those grades up.

A STAMMER CAN BE CURED. YOU HAVE A LOT OF SCHOOLING TO GO. 4 YEARS COLLEGE 4 YEARS LAW SCHOOL. FIRST YOU INTERN WHILE YOU WAIT TO TAKE THE BAR IN YOUR STATE. IF YOU PASS THE BAR YOU WILL BE AN ENTRY LEVEL ATTY. IF YOU WORK AT A FIRM YOU WILL START AS AN ASSOCIATE ATTY. AFTER PUTTING IN THE TIME AND EFFORT YOU CAN BE MADE A PARTNER AND AFTER YOU PUT IN THE TIME AND EFFORT YOU CAN BECOME AN EQUITY PARTNER. OR YOU CAN START YOUR OWN PRACTICE.

1) get good grades in high school. you need a college degree. English, Political Science, or Theater work. Take the LSAT, and recommendations to your law schools of choice. 3 years of law school and pass the bar.

2) Find a speech therapist for yourself, not your career. Not a killer handicap, but you'll always be competing with the best.

Good luck.

first: graduate from high school with a strong background in english and social studies.

second: go to a 4 year school. earn a B.A. in one of the following: philosophy, english, political science, history. get an internship with student affairs, the local DA's office, a local attorney, whatever.

third: take the LSAT (law school admissions test) prep course. then take the test. get three letters of recommendation from professors who know and like you. write a killer personal statement essay. turn in your application in the fall of your senior year.

fourth: hear from law schools, go there for three years, graduate with a J.D..

as for your stammer--

keep practicing, work on it now and do a lot of public speaking.

best of luck to you.

How is your math grades. Beleive it or not your math grades have more bearing on your ablity to get through law school than your English grades. The most important skill is logical thinking.

I did not have a single oral exam in law school. All of them were written, you can stammer, stutter, or not know how to pronounce nuclear and stll do fine in law school and become atty. As long as you can write cohererrently.

Actually one of the great ironys in law school is often those who speak well and often in class do poorly gradewise, and when you find out who is number one in the class after first semester you go, "who?" "Was she in my class?"

specific, paralegals can strengthen into attorneys, yet they might desire to circulate to regulation college. There was something called "interpreting for the regulation" so which you may do on the exterior, yet i do no longer think of you're able to try this anymore.

Four year undergrad degree with four years of law school.
With a stammer, you could be white and get into medical school. All sorts of scholarships await you, even if you are white. Kinda cancels out your lack of pigmentation problem.
