Summertime - fans c-clockwise or clockwise? I'm finding answers for both ways. Which is it.?

I saw on HGTV that ccl keeps you cooler but then I read answers and it seems either or. I live in an upstairs apt. and I did the c-clk and felt nothing last night. Help! it's hot. thanks.

Mine are all counter clockwise right now. Counter clockwise draws the cooler air up and circulates it, whereas, clockwise pushes the warmer air down. In the winter we run our fans clockwise.

I was pondering this myself the other day--- it seems that either way, ccw or c-ccw its going to stir the cold air down or hot air up either way, so personally i dont care i just leave it.
