Go to the Chinatown in Manhattan and Little Italy, as was mentioned, if you like people watching and bustling crowds.

Basically, all of Manhattan and even Park Slope [in Brooklyn] is great, especially the quirky [but expensive] shops on the lower east side.

If you want to go to museums, I suggest you don't go to the Mueum of Metropolitan Art, because it's expensive and doesn't live up to expectations with it's rather plain exhibits.

When you get right down to it, NYC is for shopping, which is why I recommend Park Slope, where you can grab a cup of coffee at Connecticut Muffin or Starbucks and people watch. It's very interesting in a place like NY.

Well New York is so much fun its good That you are going to Broadway you cant come to new york and not go to Broadway. If you are here for The 4th of July you have to go see the Macy's fireworks. And you have got to go shopping in Time Square You also have to take a carriage ride around the park. ! well i hope i helped
(; new york is the place to live ;)

well it depends if you want to experience the real new york or the stereo type new york. if you want to experience real new york forget about it because there's no way for a tourist to be able to understand the city just by visiting. you shoudl go to Union Square, Soho, and go shopping. but PLEASE don't go to williamsburg or the east village because those neighborhoods are getting so touristy.
i'm not trying to be offensive or anything, but you might not know what it's like to watch your city be stolen from you.
anyway i hope you have fun!!! you should definately got to times square.

The muesums are fun (believe it or not). I suggest the Metropolitian Museum of Modern Art. The Bronx Zoo may seem kiddish but it isn't. Also, I don't know if they have Krispy Kreme(3rd and 70 something) where you are but it defentitly beets Dunkin' Donuts. Also, just walking around Downtown is intresting, looking at the different people. 5th Ave if you like shopping (just don't buy anything its too explensive).

i used to live in ny...you and your bro should go to
MTV or 106 and Park. tickets are free and you can get them online thru the websites. trust me don't plan too much. as long as you stay in Manhattan you're bound to have a great time. bring lots of money so you can shop on 5th avenue. you can even ride a tour bus and the guide will suggest fun things to do. maybe you could go to the statue of liberty and even pay your respects @ the 9-11 site...HAVE FUN!
