of course you're supposed to be who God made you, but what if you don't know if that's how He made you or if it's how you've messed up your own life? like what if you were gay or something, is that who you are, or is it a sin? i'm not homosexual or anything, i was just wondering... where do you draw the line?

There are many complications in who and what we are. There are many things that shape us into what we will become. But the most important thing to remember is that
God made us free beings. He made us with a will. What we do with that will is up to us. Many people say "you can't help who you fall in love with". This can not be true otherwise where is the free will God gave us. You mention homosexuality. This is a choice, and, according to the Bible it is also a sin. There are some things we were never meant to do. If you look at the many diseases that come from numerous and/or same sex partners it is plain to see why it is wrong. BOTTOM LINE: If you are wondering where to draw the line in what is right and what is wrong, go to the Bible it won't let you down.

You don't. You do what seems right for you, taking care not to unduly hurt or injure anyone. Your life will speak to you and guide you along the way. Don't resist its guidance, you'll only make a mess of things and wind up doing it anyway.

How do I know this? Because there are forces beyond our control. They shape you and guide you to where you are needed although you may not know the why of it or even that is what is happening. You life path was written at the beginning of the universe and you cannot change it because you don't know what it is. Sadly, it may be a life of pain and sorrow or one of unimaginable joy. But know this:

"You are child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. Whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive him to be." *

The line should be drawn between right and wrong. Lots of people give in to temptation and say they are confused or "it's not good to suppress your true feelings." People just use that, to justify to themselves, when they want to do something they know is wrong.
But if we could draw a line between right and wrong, then when people wanted to do something wrong they would say, well who decides what's right or wrong. There is no good answer.

Everything comes down to right and wrong, good and evil, love and hate. I always draw the line on the side of right, good, and love.

God doesn't exist, everything is pre-determined, and the only logical immoral thing unless you're a nihilist is hurting another on purpose.
You have to be an idiot to think some god made you and then what you are born with is sinful.
Sorry Marie, you didn't mention the requirements when I first answered.

I think the line is different for everyone, and since everyone has their own line it should be the one that they focus on...not someone else's.

My parents "made" me. Unless you are making accusations about my mother's sexual behaviours, she and my father are the two people involved in my existence.
