I think it depends on how you define happiness. For me, I'm 100% happy because I accept that things will never be 100% anything.

Anticipating, accepting, and not being ruffled with the uncertainties of life is what makes me feel as though I can handle anything. I know that I have some really great people in my life, but more importantly I know that I am equipped to handle whatever comes my way. I like who I am, I surround myself with positive people, thoughts, and activities, I have high ethical standards, but I also realize that life has limitations, and I don't expect it to be perfect. I expect to disagree with my spouse (I also have faith that we'll work it out), I anticipate that the car will break down (I also put money into a savings account so I know I'll be covered). I don't attribute value or self worth to what I own, how much money I make, what others think of me, or if I have the latest fashions. I find pleasure in simple things. I love to learn. And I like other people.

Happiness is relative. You can be 100% happy in realizing that nothing is ever 100%.

Very much so. But it is also possible to be the same in reverse at times. To be 100% happy throughout life would make for a pretty boring existence but being like that now and again is very nice. Plus when your having not such a good day you can look back on these great days for inspiration.

Why would you want to be?

If you are asking can you be 100% happy, 100% of the time, then no definitely not.

If you are asking can you be 100% happy for a relatively short period of time, then yes, absolutely.

Honestly, there can be no happiness with out sadness. No pleasure without pain. If you are a Christian their can be no God without the devil.

100% of everything really equates to 0% of everything else. And that wouldn't make you very happy would it?

Nah, but be happy with the 90%, or the other 10% will feel like 90%, and not the 10%.

Anything is possible if you want it bad enough. Being happy is a choice and we must choose to want that, in return, it happens.

No, that is unrealistic. Every relationship has its problems, you learn to work through things together.
