In response to flashlights that is not possible. I took this picture myself and the only light was from the flash of the digital camera. The other items being used at the time was a dvr using night vision and an ir illuminator which only gives off ir light that you cannot see and it was on the other side of the area. Could the flash alone of the digital camera cause that pattern?

Thank you everyone for your insights. When I took this picture it was in an 1800's cemetary and the picture was just one of many random shots and nothing was visible at the time the shot was taken. I have done alot of these types of photographs and have seen flash flares and such but this was different than anything I had seen before. Thanks again everyone.

I have many pictures of real ghost... And what people don't know is how erratic ghost movements are, And there is no pattern to a ghost movement, none whatsoever... Your flash has a pattern to it... Now it is very possible that you took a picture of a ghost but my advice to you is not to try and follow it but to just take pictures that cover the widest area possible ok.. Because when you try to follow a ghost your movement will set up a pattern automatically and you won't know that you are doing it ok.....................................................................

What were you taking a picture of?

I've had this happen to me about 7yrs ago (with a regular camera).I was at a park taking a pic of an altar with lit candles at night. I wanted the candlelight to stand out, so I put my finger over the flash. I took another the next morning after the candles burnt out.

After the film was developed, I saw the same effect, and could tell I hadn't moved the camera since there were other objects in the photos that were clear. All other photos were fine.

My belief was it was some kind of spirit being that wanted to make itself known to you.

Indian? No. This is just a photo of a point of light, possibly a flashlight or something of the sort, taken with the shutter held open to create a longer exposure. Not a gag? Well, maybe you're not playing a gag, but some one is.

Huh, I saw it just fine. Guess you have to be NDN to see it. (snicker...) It looks to me like a running or dancing warrior. At the top, is the feather, then the warrior's head. Going down, the cross stroke looks like the arm and shoulder of the man.

Stepping back from the image, it also appears to be a buffalo with a spear in its head.
