No.Princess Diana was too normal to be a saint. The only reason she should have been made a saint was for marrying charlie.
Princess Diana was of the people and to elevate this most beautiful person to sainthood would not be right
Princess Diana did not perform miracles,What Princess Diana did was to get people to believe in themselves. That was the miracle. What a Lady..

Being a person who does a lot of good isn't enough to make someone a saint. There are supposed to be miracles involved.
She was a person who did an amazing amount of good in the world, and I'm still so sad that she is gone. Her sons have certainly followed in her footsteps. But I wouldn't call Diana a saint. A much loved, well respected by many person who did use her celebrity to bring attention to issues she felt needed notice, yes. But a saint, no.

I think she should but I always thought 100 years had to pass before someone was made a saint. Maybe I should ask that question. If after 100 years she is still well thought of then she should become St. Diana.

No I don't think that she should be made a saint. She was a good person and highlighted a lot of things to the world that needed attention. But at the end of the day she was a human being, not a Godly like person!!! She had her faults and was by no means perfect. I think that she will always be remembered for the good things that she has done, but I don't think anyone least of all Diana should be elevated to such a status

Absolutely not!!!!!!!!! Diana is way overrated. Also you don't have to be Catholic to be a saint. The Eastern and Russian Orthodox have their own lists of saints that don't necessarily match that of Rome's. Plus you have to look at how you define "Saint" it may just mean all baptised people, like in the Church of Latter Day Saints.

No. Although she was profoundly concerned with the plight of many hapless people in some parts of the word and was into lots of humanitarian work, she is not fit to become a saint. For one, her life which was as colorful as her hats were, was not of worthy of emulation and she did not have the qualities of a saint like Sister Theresa. She was into clandestine affairs while being married to Charles (although she had reason to retaliate because Charles was unfaithful).

Should she? Yes, can she? No. It would take over 100 years, and she would have to have performed some miricle in her life that shows while here on earth she had a close communion with God. Healing a sick child with just a touch, bleeding spontenously out of the nail points for Jesuses body. Seeing angels which were record before her death of her seeing such angels and recoded in abundance, since she was a crowned princess of England, she is Anglian, and I am sure both the catholic Church and the church of england would oppose her sainthood.

If she didn't have have a priviledged, Royal connection, she couldn't possibly have flown around the world doing 'saintly work'. What about the rich businessman who turns to philanthropy using the money he earned over the years? The foreign soldier who personally risks his life to destroy landmines? The migrant who sponsors poor relatives overseas? Surely they should be on the shortlist to sainthood too?

First she would have to have been Catholic, second don't there have to be a certain number of proven "miracles" involved, even if she had been? Third, while she was a wonderful person, and did a lot to promote charities adn gave the world two wonderful sons and put up with a lot of cr*p in her all to short life, she does not qualify for sainthood
