I'd probably get a patent or a poor man's patent (mail a bunch of registered letters to yourself).

Then go to someone with the manufacturing capability to prove your concept. Without knowing what your concept is, I can't say who that would be. It sounds like anyone with a good metal shop should be able to do it.

Once the concept is proved, definitely get a patent and maybe a patent attorney to help you.

Don't get your hopes up, though. There's no such thing as something for nothing.

If indeed you have invented a new method, congrats and you should first patent it before looking for sponsors. Sponsors will come once patent is granted.

By the way, you need to patent it in as many countries as possible and that can cost you a lot of money.

1. If it actually works then your in a good spot...
2. There are generally school (universities, colleges) that focus in science, you could go to one of the professors and get them to find you someone that would fund this product!... but remember to copyright and work that you do and anything that could be stolen from it... remember if you do not do this you could lose it...

Sorry If this is not very useful!
