You made your point, the republicans and the democrats are both bad. As you would probably agree two parties are unlikely to be equally bad or equally good.
And as it is, for most people (those that are not rich or a big corporation), the republicans are worse, much worse.
(of course, one can always find, that there are some rich folks with scruples)

Finally, someone who is awake on at least one important point! You are absolutely right--there isn't a dime's worth of difference between the Dems and Repubs, as both are controlled by the globalists who rule the world. The sheeple in America don't see thru the deception because they are too focused on policy and matters of no substance. In truth, neither party has the best interests of the American people at heart--they do what they are told to do by their corporate bosses.

Good point, but you have to understand the two parties represent to areas of dumb. The liberal dumb and the conservative dumb. When dumb goes after dumb you get dumber. The real issue is whether we as Americans are willing to fight for our constitutional freedoms as Americans not ideologue. The Libertarian Party recognizes this issue, but they are not understood enough to make a difference. Therefore, we all do the dumb and dumber thing at the polls and decide issues in the same way.. i.e. the best haircut or the best wrong solution.

I can't remember who said it, but the quote "the difference is in the details" is extremely true in this question. Democrats and Republicans have similarities and this is undeniable but their similarities occur because both parties need to appease the greatest audience of people to gurantee re-election and congressional support. If the two parties were completely different, don't you think this nation would be utterly fractured and un-governable because the parties would be so different from one another.
The two parties both perpetuate grievous mistakes and can cause harm to many people but they are still different. The few examples you have provided over-simplify the differences between the parties. For example, democrats over-whelmingly support action againgst global warming, same-sex marriages, abortion, and increased spending on education while Republicans mostly support tax-cuts, business boosting deductibles and protection and a more healthy and stable economy.
In short, both parties make and have made mistakes and mistakes are universal amongst any body of people but saying two people are the same because they make mistakes cannot be true because we all make mistakes and what makes us who we are is how we going about fixing those mistakes and preventing them in the future.

And no matter who wins the election, the same old toads show up for Government Jobs. How long has Rumsfeld been hanging around Washington DC. There are thousands of them just waiting for the next election.
Democracy is Dead in America if the choice is between Republicans and Democrats

There is a difference between the two parties, but I agree that it is not much of one. It now does, and always has, come down to a choice between the lesser of two evils. Oh that it wasn't so. The sad truth is that a vote for a 3rd party candidate is the same as a vote for the main party candidate with the more opposing views of the 3rd party candidate. So, essentially, you are voting against your own beliefs by voting 3rd party.

You have some good points. That's why we should consider libertarian beliefs. Get rid of the federal government except for the army and interstate commerce. We are too lazy to get off our duffs to anything about it. How many here actually know who your senators and congress person are.

...most everything you posted in your first paragraph is flawed.
It was Congress that passed the Laws... not the Presidents.
It is Congress that moved the Nation in a "direction"... the President just holds the "reigns"... The "Horses" get out of control a-lot on this-hitch...

It is a comfortable illusion.
No political party can do anything the Central Bank (Federal Reserve) does not allow them to do. And you can take that to the bank. Pun intended.
