Is it hard to learn to play the drums?

Is It hard to learn? Are the lessons expensive on average? And I know this doesn't matter but sre there many girl drummers out there?

I started lessons at my school recently.
they take some getting used to.
You need to have good ryhthm and have to abilty to do different things with each hand.
Hard to begin with, but with most things, it gets easier as you go along.
I guess they're expensive, but most music lessons are.

Are Drums hard to learn? Yes!! Drumming requires heightened coordination, paying extremely great attention to time, and making a strong effort to make sure what you play meshes well with the music, all at the same time. It will only take a few days probably to learn a few beats, but learning complex material and perfecting basics can take years. How hard it is depends on what your goals are.
Are drum lessons expensive? They can be, but the good news is that if you're a beginner, then going with a less expensive, less experienced teacher will still be beneficial because you don't know anything and can only benefit. These cheaper lessons probably average around $30 an hour. The real pro's charge between $60-100 and hour, maybe more.
Are there girl drummers out there? Oh yes, not nearly as many as male drummers...not nearly. Go to www.drummerworld.com and click on the link that says "drummers," and you can read about some famous and amazing female drummers.

It's a lot easier than a real instrument.
