I would go with Dish for the name, because Direct TV is kind of weird.

I"ve never had dish, i've always had Directv, the reason being is that by the end of this year, Directv will have over 125HD channels. If you don't care about that, then yes, Dish is way cheaper than Directv.

My family and I had Direct but then we got Dish and we all like Dish better.

this has what to do with baby names ??
but to answer your question... I think Dish is better where I live anyway because when it rains here ( even the least little bit) Directv goes out! never had that problem with Dish

Those are very strange baby names. I would choose Dish. Mainly because I have had it for years with no big problems.

If you like sports, Direct TV is better as it has the NFL and MLB packages along with several others.
