Turn your thermostat off. Turn the temperature of the cooling setting up higher than your room temperature so that it does not call for cooling.
Turn the fan switch from "auto" to "on."
Go to your air handler (the furnace) and listen for the blower. If it is not going, call in the pro. It could be a simple belt, capacitor, or motor itself.
If it is the motor, the tech will need to pull the housing in order to replace the motor. Request that the blower assembly be washed at this time.

look at your unit...
do copper lines go into your house? if so you have another part of your a/c inside (probably also in your heating unit)
You may have to switch it from heat to cool on that unit.
ALSO: try your heater, if no air is blowing then your circulation motor inside is not working. there may be a switch, fuse, or a more serious problem.
If you have a single unit and no copper lines, then everything I said above is outside in the main unit (2 motors).

First understand how the system works, the unit outside doesn't provide the air it is a condensing unit that provides cooling for the refridgerant. If you have no air moving then check that your furnace is on and the thermostat is turned to cooling mode. If the thermostat is in cooling check that the furnace is on this is where the airflow comes from

if air isn't blowing inside, then the blower fan is not turned on....it may broken....also, there is a small spade-like fuse inside the AC unit that is like the ones you put in your car.. it is 5 amps or less... check that too.... the fan inside blows the air regardless of it being heat, AC, or room air.
