To get anything with Disney, you need loads of talent and you need an agent. If you want to find a legitimate agent to represent you for commercials, TV & film go to Sag.org. Use the dropdown menu on the right labeled 'resources' and choose 'agent information'. On the next screen, on the left choose 'Find a SAG franchised agent' and follow the directions. You can look up agents all over the US, but there are higher concentrations where the work is (Los Angeles, NY, IL, FL, GA etc.)
Then you can send them your headshot, resume, and a cover letter stating that you are seeking representation and wait to see if they call you in for an interview.
Other than that, get yourself into acting classes and workshops. Disney kids are very talented triple threats. Also look into theatre, student films, anything to build your experience and resume credits. Once you have an agent, they will get you the auditions, but until then you can check out actorsaccess.com. You can also see if your state has a film alliance. Sometimes they post audition information for projects filming locally. For theatre, you can go to backstage.com or http://www.actorsequity.org/castingcall/... If you find the audition on the Equity site, you still may be able to go, as long as their not taking appointments from equity actor's only :-) On backstage.com you have to pay to get all of the info, but the initial search is free and you may be able to see enough info to find out the rest on your own without paying.
Good luck.

Hi there,
The first thing that comes to mind after reading your question is, "Are you ready to audition for Disney?" The reason I ask is because there I have entertained an onslaught of questions recently by folks asking the same question. It seems that Disney is the place everyone wants to be.
Having said that, you know that the people already acting on Disney Channel are trained professionals. Are you? If so, then I have a suggestion for you. There are many actors who are very, very good, but don't get seen and don't get a chance to audition for the casting directors they really want to audition for, because they don't have the business skills they need to be successful. And so, their talent goes unnoticed. What a shame. Really. I have a friend who was like that for a long time and now she is beginning to come around.
Your number one priority should be getting some good, solid acting training. It's not just about being the right type, it's also, and more importantly about your acting skill. But make sure you have an opinion about what you are looking for in a school and in a teacher. Click here to see what some of your criteria could be.
In the long-term, and if you really want to be acting on Disney Channel, you will want to develop yourself, study the industry and study your acting craft.
Go to this link and see some of the issues actors often have before they even get close to working at all as actors, much less acting on Disney Channel: http://www.actingcareerstartup.com
I’ll send you to this page to see what it can be like to be an actor looking for work. This could be typical day, like it was once for me:
http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/working_as_an_actor.html
Are you ready to do that day after day after day until you get what you want?
Getting an agent is only part of the deal and even if you get one, it doesn't mean that he'll send you out for all the auditions you want.
I say this to let you know that before you get close to Disney, you will have a lot of work to do and a lot of base to build. That is unless you are a natural born, exceptional talent. Then maybe not.
So in summary, it is possible to get to Disney. It is. But you will have to position yourself for success. To do that you need to get started quickly and with purpose!
Good luck!
Tony

You can start small and work your way up.
Disney Channel does not have open auditions so you'll need an agent.
Why sell yourself short to Disney? There's so much better acting opportunities out there.

alot of people are asking this question and it is pretty annoying, but i think the reason alot of people want to be on disney is because a few actors who got a role on a disney production shot to superstardom within a year or two.
everyone who dreams of being on disney needs to understand that it most likely wont happen unless you have a good agent or manager, and it definately wont happen if you dont have that "disney" look.

You must have worked for years, in television if you want to be on a Television Series.
Britney Spears and Raven Symone GREW UP on television, as actors. If you didn't work on tv as a child, you can't be on a Disney show.
If you have a strong background in theater or film, appeared in commercials, or otherwise worked, in the industry with a good role, ask you parents to find a Talent Manager, or Talent Agent, for you.

Well, I recommend getting good headshots, an agent and promoting yourself like crazy. Let your agent know what you are going for and work on your skills daily. Persist! Persist! Persist!
If you need info regarding headshots checkout http://www.headshots101.com They go over casting and everything. So, it should help on your search for answers.
