Help EARWIGS!! They have infested my home.....?

Please help me with a way to get rid of these unGodly creatures that lurk me when I am sleeping, showering, doing laundry, or doing dishes!! They are everywhere!! No matter what I am doing they end up crawling on me!! I can't stand it, they freak me out. My cats and dog try to eat them but it seems that they are getting pinched by them...........PLEASE HELP!!!

Funny you should mention this because I just read an article, but I don't remember where in which they discuss earwigs indoors. They said that spray and wash will kill them instantly. However, they also said that you have to take care of the problem outside if you want to take care of the problem inside. A solution of 1tsp of dish soap to a quart of water sprayed on the infected plants should help. You can also leave rolled up newspaper, cut sections of tubing or hose and place them around your plants. Every evening shake the paper or tubes into soapy water and continue until you no longer see any signs of earwigs.
