Exactly. But to hear the liberals say it, we're more at risk than ever from the terrorist horde. Say what you will about the guy, but one thing Bush has done is made it safer in the U.S. from terror attacks. One other thing, I'm impressed the way the UK authorities handled the bomb threats in London and arresting a few bad guys related to the Glasgow airport incident. At least it shows their intelligence network is working. Just don't let them go - ever.

Does that mean that our leaders were all excellent BEFORE 9/11? We hadn't had an attack since 1993 when that happened, and that was the only foreign terrorist attack on our soil since Pearl Harbor. Yet I'll bet you are not willing to say that Bill Clinton was a great leader, eh? Either way, the "we haven't had an attack in 6 years" is a weak argument, because no one knows what is around the corner. It is not like we were being attacked every year before the Bush administration come into power. Don't be silly.

No major terrorist attack in 6 years in no indication of the quality of leaders in America or elsewhere. A major terrorist attack in America is a pretty sure thing whether from outside or from within. Don't hold your breath for another 6 years.

sshh you will upset the liberals who secretly are hoping for the terrorists to win, they would rather see US/UK lose in Iraq and Afghanistan, the hate the President so much these democrat and liberal traitors would rather their own countries lose a war. The US has not had a terrorist attack since 9/11 (and that was down to Clinton) because they have been pre-empted and like someone already said we are fighting them in Iraq and Afghanistan, you can bet if we were not there we would have had dozens of attacks on US Soil by now.

I do believe that we have the worst leaders in the world...and I don't believe that they are the reason we haven't had a terrorist attack on our soil since 2001. Sad to say..but I believe that they have their time set to catch us unaware just as they did in 2001. We just have to be more vigilant than we were then. Look at what's happened in London and Scotland this past weekend. People were paying attention to what was happening around them. I hope and pray that people are watching out for us here in our country. We can all do that by reporting suspicious behavior around us.

The 2 have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Did you know, for example, that we have only had one Anthrax attack since 9/11? It must be because George Bush has prevented all subsequent attacks!

Also, rapes increase in summer at a rate proportional to ice cream consumption. Ice cream causes rapes!

Okay..back to reality..how many years prior to 9/11 did Al Qaeda strike? When was the last terrorist attack on the US before then?

Agree with Lynn. There are an awful lot of people out there that think they can do better. Well those people should go to college and become a politician and run the dang country themselves. America has not had a major or minor terrorist attack in 6 years because I believe our President and his administration has done well by us... I think homeland security has done a great job, local police forces and our military as well. I personally think we have a great leader and would love it if he could have another 8 years.

I accept as true with you with the exception of one element: The CIA did no longer have warning that bin weighted down substitute into going to hijack planes and fly them into homes. The PDB that maximum persons consult with pronounced in basic terms that an attack substitute into forthcoming. properly, DUH. I additionally might upload that the terrorists who hijacked the 4 planes have been making plans the attack for various years, and have been interior the rustic for greater or less 5. Why substitute into no longer something finished approximately it then? Our government failed us, yet i do no longer think of we can pin all the blame on President Bush, nor can we blame former President Clinton. the actuality of the challenge is, human beings have been being attacked with increasing ferocity because 1979, under Carter. If we had enable them to comprehend THEN that we are to no longer be messed with, 9/11 might in no way have occurred. they does not have dared. As a sidenote, i'm as offended as the different American that we nonetheless have not chanced on bin weighted down. even if, I definitely do no longer think of that finding bin weighted down and attempting him for the crimes he's committed will do greater effective than boost Al Qaida. they're like a many-headed monster. Kill bin weighted down, and we nonetheless might desire to manage the different terrorist cells.

I have a rock that keeps lions away. You want to buy it? It's a trillion dollars. It works for sure. Do you see any lions around?

Edit: BTW, you do realize the irony of spending a trillion dollars and giving away your constitutional freedoms in order to further inflame opposition to US imperialism. The scaremongers lied about the terrorist threat and guys bought it. The funny thing is, the scare mongers are making the threat ever more real by what they are doing in the ME.
If Al Qaeda was a small splintered group that somehow got lucky with 9/11, thanks to the US, there are now all sorts of people who'll stop at nothing to see their homeland free of foreign occupiers. Wouldn't you do the same thing if the USA was occupied by Iraqi soldiers?
